The GTN Metrology Laboratory performs periodic verification of non-automatic weighing instruments (NAWI). This legal metrology service operates within a defined scope of accreditation.

From the instrument
to your request.
To request a quotation, complete and sign the relevant form. Contact the laboratory for information about periodic verification.
Prepare your request.
Choose the form for instrument owners or authorised intermediaries, then complete the required details.
Send the form.
Send the signed document to the laboratory by email or Italian certified email (PEC).
Read the service rules.
Find the service conditions and the procedures for complaints and appeals.
When is periodic verification required?
It is the legal metrology check of instruments after commissioning, at the required intervals and following repairs that involve removing seals. Consult the service rules for the deadlines and arrangements applicable to your instrument.
Can I use an intermediary?
Yes, you can use an intermediary authorised by GTN. Form Mpq 07.5.9 is available for this route in the documents below.
